Meet Vespa
Sweet Vespa wound up at the NYC shelter after being found as a stray. She was absolutely terrified there hiding in her litter box when people would try to interact with her. She was in danger of being euthanized so we scooped her right up.

She was timid at first in her foster home but in time she warmed up quite a bit. This stunning beauty is not a lap cat -- she likes her personal space. But, she will approach you for some scratches on her head. Vespa likes to be in the same room with you where she can see you and be seen. She's a gentle soul who loves the windowsill where she can nap on the sun.

Vespa is 6.5 years old and fully housebroken. We are looking for a patient, understanding home who wants to help a lovely independent kitty by giving them a forever home. How about opening your hearts to a special kitty in need.
