Meet Winnie
Born around July of 2022, Winnie is a female Black Mouth Cur mix (best guess). She is a medium sized pup around 45 lbs, fully grown. She is a medium-high energy dog who is incredibly loyal and obedient.
Winnie and her babies came to the rescue via a local shelter, after being dumped by the side of the road in Spokane Valley. The puppies tested positive for Parvo but are now healthy and ready for their forever homes. Despite this tough start to parenting, Mama Winnie has been great to her little ones and is ready to be spoiled in her own home.
She is food motivated and learns quickly and she loves getting treats when her humans are eating. This sweet girl is talkative and happiest when she is with her person. As soon as she trusts her human, she attaches very quickly, and will be a very loving and loyal companion to a lucky forever family. She will need a strong leader who can continue to support her training and be willing to work with her. Her ideal home would be an fairly active household with car rides now and then.
Microchipped, vaccinated, spayed, potty trained, is working on crate training, and can be left alone for a few hours, this mama is ready to find a loving home.
At the rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. We are 100% foster based and rely on volunteers and fosters to help in our mission. Our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED.
Adoption fee: $450-$550. The rescue is located and based out of Spokane, WA. Adopters may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option to your local area for an additional delivery surcharge of $250.
We will choose the most suitable home for each dog, not the first application received.
If the dog you are applying for is adopted, we have good matchmakers that will help you find your perfect new four-legged family member.
Since the dogs that come are rescues, not much is known about them. Therefore breed and adult sizes are our best guesses and we cannot guarantee this information is accurate.
