We have good news to share about Wonder.
He is not diabetic after all! We are so happy about this, as he can live a nice normal life.
He is recovering from his nasty case of kennel cough and we have shaved all those dreadlocks off him and revealed a beautiful, glossy coat.
He will be having surgery (neuter) and a dental in about 10 days, and will be ready for adoption then.
This sweet, loving boy is blind but gets around no problem.
He does great with other dogs, loves all people he has met and while we don't know about cats yet, we also assume that a cat could easily escape a blind dog! He enjoys toddling around his yard, is a very quiet boy who we haven't even heard bark yet! He is housebroken to a doggie door and will make someone a loving companion.
He is a bit thin, but eating great so have no reason to think he won't put the weight back on.
Due to the state of neglect he was in when we got him, we can assume he wasn't getting enough to eat.
Those days are behind him and he is looking for his new human, could it be you?
