To shelter staff’s dismay, little Woody was dumped in the shelter parking lot and walked himself to the door.
He was filthy, matted and very hungry.
Woody was considered a shelter favorite and they sent out a “last plea” asking for a miracle for this little guy because Woody was not doing well in that environment.
He is a 12 year old, 10 pound sweet distinguished gentleman that has a lonely heart and wants nothing more than to have a person or two all to himself.
He is a very laid back guy that enjoys short walks and watching TV.
He is a little shadow just wants to be where the action is.
He is quiet and travels well.
He can be taken anywhere because he is very well behaved in public.
Woody does not like to be left alone and will bark until you return.
All of Woody’s vet care has been taken care of including a dental.
He takes medication for a heart murmur but is otherwise in great health.
He has a crooked front leg that does not bother him, which may be an old injury or he was born with it.
It does not bother him at all and he gets around just fine.
He is good with other dogs, he is puddle pad trained and enjoys fine dining.
**Woody is in the Distinguished Dog program which means we will take care of his medical needs**
