Meet Wyatt
Meet Wyatt! Wyatt is a male, 4 year old, Great Dane, Pit Bull Terrier and Akita blend. He is 61 pounds.
Wyatt arrived at the shelter as a stray. This guy was pretty nervous here at first, but as soon as we asked him if he'd like to go for a car ride, he warmed right up and started tilting his head back and forth! He's a super cute boy who loves wet food, hot dogs, and cheese. Wyatt is also very smart and learns quickly, so training with him should be fun and rewarding for both of you! He would greatly benefit from lots of enrichment in his new forever home. Wyatt will also need a home without cats, as he likes to chase small animals. If his new forever home includes children, they will need to be 6 years old and older. If you have other dogs in your home, we do require a staff-assisted meet and greet with your dog(s) and Wyatt to make sure everyone gets along. Waytt is sweet, super cute, and fun! Here at the shelter, he is pretty stressed in his kennel, but does so wonderfully outside! He loves to receive affection, play, and be around his person! He's an overall great guy who is looking forward to finally going home!
Wyatt will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we do require a staff-assisted meet and greet with your dog(s) and Wyatt to make sure everyone gets along. He will need a home without small animals, like cats.
Wyatt is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go home today!
The shelter is currently open by appointment only. Fill out an application to schedule an appointment today!
