Yotam probably doesn’t have Dachshund in him but that is what is noted on his rabies certificate. He did arrive with some wounds on both sides of his body but they have all healed nicely. Can’t even begin to imagine what this baby has gone through to get those wounds. He is gentle - but initially guarded his food bowl. He has been put out for play time with the other littles here during the cold weather and have not seen (heard) him do it the past couple of days. This sweet guy needs someone to take him in as their own baby and love him to pieces.

This dog is heartworm positive but please do not rule him/her out because of it. There's a treatment that is not as hard on the dog as the one you may have heard of and it's FREE.

HIS/HER adoption fee is $600 USD and that will pay for TRANSPORT, all his/her shots up to date, neutered/spayed, microchip and rabies.

This dog is currently in the Houston Texas area. Once the application is approved and adoption fee paid, transport will be arranged.

Because this adoption will be without meeting the dog first, we will need to try to be extra careful that everyone (including you) think this will be a good fit. We will try to give you as much information about the dog as we can. Unfortunately, many are fresh from the shelter and we don't know much about them yet.
