Meet ZANE
Zane is a white and black fellow with a bob-tail who came from a litter of 4. He's very shy....what we call a "spirit cat". By definition, Spirit Cats are very shy with people. They live in your home, but are rarely seen - visitors will probably never see them. They are cats who live with you, and who may sometimes grant you the opportunity to touch them. Or, they may not. Spirit Cats are great with other cats, and Zane gets along with others very nicely! Spirit Cats are a great choice for patient, kind people with a quiet household who want to make a difference for an individual cat who otherwise might not find a forever home. People who are willing to interact and enrich the cat's life on the cat's terms will be the perfect match for Zane. He will benefit greatly from an adopter willing to give him time to settle into his new home, to decompress, to feel calm and comfortable in his new surroundings. He's slowly becoming more trusting and isn't as nervous any more. Could you be Zane's special person? Zane is waiting to meet you.

UPDATE: Zane is gaining confidence, and those who spend a lot of time with him may actually get the opportunity to pet him at times. He's really making some nice progress, but will still need a very patient hew person.
