Zena

Meet Zena! Zena was surrendered by her owner to the San Diego Humane Society-Oceanside following a divorce.

We scooped her up on January 29th to become a Frosted Face! Zena is only 5 years old and weighs 71 lbs.

She is sweet, friendly, and playful.

In her previous home, Zena reportedly co-existed wonderfully with her siblings, big and small, and they all cuddled and slept together.

Zena loves going on our weekly FFF hikes and earns glowing reviews from volunteers.

One shared: "Zena is a wonderful hiking buddy and prefers a longer distance, slower pace, and lots of breaks for water and head scratches! Her leash manners are excellent, and she walked beside me the entire time without pulling.

She seemed curious about the other dogs, but she never showed any aggression or fear.

She did really well in the car and sat quietly the whole ride.

She has a sweet and gentle personality, and I really enjoyed my walk with her! Zena is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, and we are so happy this sweet girl is getting extra TLC in the cozy comforts of a home.

Her Fling Mom reports: "Zena is such a love bug! She loves her walks and enjoys car rides.

And her favorite place is the couch-preferably with humans, blanket and the fireplace going! Zena is a wonderful, cuddly companion.

Zena likes to watch the egrets from the bridge, nap in a sunny spot at Kaminski's, and take a long nap afterward.

She loves all people, our turtle, Tortellini, and a good cozy nap.
