Most animals we rescue are abandoned at the pound, who no one wants--seniors and special-needs.

100% of all funds are used for them—extensive veterinary and medical costs, prescription meds, rehab, special foods, supplements, and more.

We are not like many larger non-profits who use up to 90% of all funds on expensive advertising, enormous salaries, social media, and human expenses.

ZINNIA is a sweet 8 year old American Staffordshire Terrier pup we would consider comfortable in an apartment/condominium lifestyle, depending of course upon her human family.

She is small and petite.

She had been attacked, probably when she was abandoned on the streets.

She is all healed and her scars are starting to go away so she can be beautiful again.

Zinnia has a puppy-play-curiosity with all other dogs.

She is being fostered with many other dogs, male and female, and she walks very well on the leash.

She likes to fetch for toys, and she also likes to cuddle and roll around other dogs to try and get them to play with her! She is fine with new people.

The man she had just met in the photo is elderly and not strong, and Zinnia felt comfy with both him and another pup who had been rescued off the streets and who she had not ever met before.

Zinnia is spayed, vaccinated, had vet exam, is housetrained, and waiting for a loving home.
